worm in C:\users\Public\Favorites

OK, I have a virus file C:\users\Public\Favorites\NginnL_na.exe (worm.autorun).

When I boot in safe mode I can't get to the file.

When I click on c:\users\Public\Favorites I get the following error message:

Location is not available

C:\users\Public\Favorites is not accessible.

The name of the file cannot be resolved by the system.

What should I do? I have already tried combofix.

Is it safe to delete C:\users\Public\Favorites?

Hi,

Please ignore this detection since this is a read error on Vista systems (Users\Public folder). Because of that, malwarebytes detects malware which isn't there.

This will be fixed asap.
