Upgraded to 3.0, still have 2.0 leftover

I have the new Malwarebytes installed into program files.

The old version is in program files (x86). I have no idea why it didn't just overwrite the old one.

 

The old one kept asking to upgrade so I closed it. New version seems to function fine. So is it safe to uninstall the old Malwarebytes Anti-Malware?

A clean v3 install is recommended. Uninstall v3, reboot then use the clean uninstall tool to remove v2 remnants. After that runs check /ProgramData,  /Program Files,  /Programs Files (x86) for remnants (manually delete any that may appear). Then with one final reboot install the latest update (CU4 at this writing).
