Hi @hfsomasama,

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble update. Please try the following to resolve your update issue:

Please do a a check for updates and ensure you're on Update Package 1.0.1562 or later, and then reboot your system.

There was an issue with an earlier update which caused some systems to get stuck in the odd update state. To fully recover, the reboot is necessary.

If you are still having trouble, please contact our support team here: https://support.malwarebytes.com/customer/portal/emails/new?b_id=6400

Thanks,
Cecile

Hello @hfsomasama

Please do the following which should correct your issues for you.

Please read the following topic and then run the Malwarebytes Clean Removal tool mb-clean

https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/196955-malwarebytes-mb-clean-tool/

The download link for the tool is:  https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb_clean

Restart the computer when done and reinstall Malwarebytes 3 with the latest build again.

Here is the link for the latest installer

https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb3/

Thank you

Ron

Sorry for the confusion, the quote I posted was to first ensure you are on Update Package 1.0.1562 or later, and then reboot your system. I understand the first part of the quoted sentence doesn't apply to you (I wasn't going to change someone else's words) but It wasn't clear in your original post if you had restarted your computer :)

If you haven't done so, please follow AdvancedSetup's instructions above to clean uninstall and then reinstall.

Let us know if you still are facing this issue after reinstalling.

Thanks,
Cecile
