Why can't my apps connect to the internet when I restarted my computer when malwarebytes told me to?

I just downloaded malwarebytes yesterday and ran a couple of scans, it was all going well, when malwarebytes told me to restart my pc and I did, and since then steam, lol, or game apps can't connect to the internet. Please help me fix this problem im so bored....

I can browse my internet browser just fine, but it says it can't fetch server status for games or for steam says it can't connect to the steam network.

If you right click Malwarebytes in the system tray and choose Quit Malwarebytes, does the issue go away?
