Real Time protection keeps turning off

Recommended Posts

OK.  So it seems once again my Real-time Protection is turning itself off.  It worked fine after the last update that supposedly resolved this issue, but this has become an issue once again.  Attaching a screenshot from this morning.  I've tried to restart, but all it says is "Starting" and never goes any further.

BTW, I have the full-blown pay version of this software.

If you're seeing this issue, can you please verify under Settings -> About that you are on component package version 1.0.75? This latest update was released last week, you can read more about it here:

For some reason it seems that I may not getting the automatic updates.  In fact, when I told it to check for updates it indicated it was up to date.  Screen shot will show my current version.

@Fliger from your screenshot it looks like your running an older version (it shows you have component package 1.0.69, and the latest is package 1.0.75) follow the steps below go get the latest version installed to see if it corrects your issue.

Let's try this first....

  1. Please follow the steps in this pinned topic to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - Malwarebytes mb-clean tool (after uninstalling you can download the latest version to re-install from HERE)
  2. If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and attach to your next reply the 4 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 4 logs are: mbam logs zipped, FRST.txt, Addition.txt and mb-checkResult.txt)
  3. NOTE: More info about Malwarebytes 3.0.6 CU3 HERE; MB 3 User Guide ONLINE; MB 3 User Guide PDF; MB 3 FAQ: Malwarebytes 3.0 - Frequently Asked Questions

Please let us know how it goes.

I've managed to get the software reinstalled.  However, now when I enter my license key.  The option to activate is grayed out and I can't get it activated.  Now what do I do?
