False Positive? AdwCleaner detected folders (empty) Emiesitelist, Emieuserlist and Emiebrowsermodelist

Recommended Posts

I also had these folders flagged today.

Current version of Adwcleaner DID NOT flag these folders a few days ago while these folders have been on my system since 2015.   They are hidden folders, completely empty with a creation date back in 2015.  Neither Avira or Malwarebytes 3.0 flag these folders.  Roguekiller also does not flag these.

Old MS technet forum posts refer to these folders pertain to IE 11 Enterprise Mode.

Like I said, I run Adwcleaner every few days and the last run on 3/11 did not flag anything nor any of the multiple runs in the past.  This is the first time Adw has flagged anything f or me in a very long time.
