Unable to get MB 3.0.6 to start Ransomware

I kept getting notifications about Protections being turned off.  I put it on Defaults, but the problem kept repeating for Ransonware Protection

I uninstalled MB, but could not find a non-TRIAL version to install. After installing the TRIAL version, I tried to ACTIVATE License ID and KEY.

The ACTIVATE button never did come on. Checked my ID and Key (both right), 3x tried and nothing.

How do I find the latest 3.0.6 Premium download and how do I get my ID and Key to work (current paid client)?

Hello and Welcome!

The Trial/Premium download did the same installer for all of them. Below are some instructions to get a clean re-install of MB3 and will get you to the latest version, which should resolve your issue with the protections not starting up.

Let's try this first....

  1. Please follow the steps in this pinned topic to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - Malwarebytes mb-clean tool (after uninstalling you can download the latest version to re-install from HERE)
  2. If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and attach to your next reply the 4 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 4 logs are: mbam logs zipped, FRST.txt, Addition.txt and mb-checkResult.txt)
