Malwarebytes 3.0 Preventing MS Word from opening

Starting this morning, I cannot open Microsoft Word (latest version of Office 365). MB closes the program and gives me this report:

What is going on here? How can I resolve this? (I am already updated on MB with latest definitions and version)

Note also: this only happens with Word, not Excel, PowerPoint, or Publisher. Version is 1702 (Build 7870.2020)

It looks like you might be on a preview version of 3.0.6. I'd recommend fully uninstalling that version and installing the latest 3.0.6.1469 plus CU3. The download link is here: https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb3

That appears to have fixed the problem. Any idea why MB would not have automatically updated?

Preview versions generally require manual updates. We usually don't auto-update those versions as it can cause too many anomalies and potentially more issues

I'm having the exact same problem on my system - it started up this morning.  I am running Premium 3.0.6 - I am downloading the suggested mb3 file, and will uninstall/reinstall and let you know if this corrects my issue as well.
