Exploit protection off on startup

Recommended Posts

@Breach I'll let someone from MB address this then. Though the current advice seems to involved uninstalling (deactivate license before uninstalling), followed by the clean uninstall tool, followed by reinstalling CU3 from the sticky post. MB staff should be back in force tomorrow.Best of luck.

Thanks. I just reinstalled from the installer (on top of the existing version, without uninstalling first), rebooted and exploit protection was on. Weird, CU version before/after is the same. So seems fixed, but let's see...

I had the same problem after running MB-clean and new install.

I did the same over the top install and it worked great all day yesterday.

This morning on initial boot the problem was back except this time I could not get it to start.

I changed the startup option to delay for 15 sec and restarted and it looks good for now.

Here is my post from yesterday.
