Scan running over 12 hours, Heuristics Analysis last 4-5

I started a system scan last night about 11 pm. When I got up this morning, it was still running. It was doing the last step, the Heuristics Analysis. Now, over 4 hours later, it is still doing that.

Is it stuck? Should I let it finish or cancel it. If I let it go, how much longer will it go?

It is running on a Dell workstation running Win XP.

PS: The Pause and Cancel buttons are greyed out.

Do you have updates on this issue. 

What version of the Malwarebytes product were you on?

Also did you run any subsequent scans and experience the same issue?
