Version 3 nothing but problems

Version two has always worked like a charm. Nothing but problems since version 3. I now have rolled back to version 2. Scan sometimes freezes or gets stuck on a certain file. Even when no scan running, system is drastically slowed up or totally freezes. Browsing can take forever. I have windows 7 and also use Mcafee anti virus. I have uninstalled cleanly and have installed twice with different versions but all to no avail. And I won;t even get into the constant real time protection off problem. I don;t understand why a previous version ran so perfectly and then this one just works poorly. I am afraid of this version. I am a premium user. I hope that you will continue version 2 for a long while to come, because version 3 is just not ready. It seems more like a beta version than a fully tested version. I am so disappointed. Perhaps the program has conflicts with Mcafe because on a different computer that has norton antivirus it doesn't freeze as it does on the other. 

 

And again, it is not Malawarebytes that freezes, it is my whole system even after just booting up and going into chrome. Shortly after it will usually freeze up or come to a crawl. Maybe when there is a version 3.1 it will get back to normal. I have always loved the product as it previously rescued my computer several years back when I got some nasty malware and my computer was unusable and ransomed. Please perfect this current version. Maybe the program took on too much. Sometimes, simpler is better.

If you want to try the latest version that was released just today, do so by following the instructions below, I also included the files to exclude in our McAfee in case there was a conflict...

Let's try this first....

1. Please follow the steps in this pinned topic to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - Malwarebytes mb-clean tool (after uninstalling you can download the latest version to re-install from HERE)
2. If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and attach to your next reply the 4 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 4 logs are: mbam logs zipped, FRST.txt, Addition.txt and mb-checkResult.txt)

Please note that it is near impossible to provide any logs when the system comes to a crawl or freezes up. The only way to get back my system is to do a hard reboot with power button, so there is no way to gather any logs. Nor are there any error message. Just an unresponsive computer. What would be different in today's build that was not present before? 

When I feel brave again and want to risk crashing and freezing my system again I will try to download the latest again.

How long will version 2 be around and supported. I hope you will keep it around a while, at least for now.

And as we talk, I get the annoying real time protection layer turned off message. This is on the computer where it doesn't freeze the system and runs NAV and windows 7. The main difference between the computer that freezes up and the one that doesn't is the antivirus that is run. Though I suspect there are other services and programs that are run on bootup that are different for each computer.One of these startups must be the culprit including the antivirus.

Sometime in end of Jun is when v2 would not be supported, like you I would like them to support it longer...

The latest version I pointed you to above is suppose to fix the real time protection issues.  What AV are you running on the second computer?
