Is Free Hide Folder a malware?

I would just like MBAM to verify is FreeHideFolder (fhide.exe) is really a malware or not. It is not detected as such by MBAM but independent scans by VirusTotal/Jotti and Filterbit says, otherwise . Here are the results from them:

Scan for fhide.exe

Sophos 4.43.0 2009.07.07 Free Hide Folder

I am using it but since the results I have quarantined it and placed it in my blocked files.

I have already sent a copy of the file via the MBAM website ut I will attach it again here in this post for your perusal/testing.

Please enlighten me on this and about this file.

It's not malware if you have installed it / aware you installed it. Some scanners do flag it as suspicious / unwanted etc, but that's only in case you are not aware this one is installed.

Mbam won't detect it since it's basically not malware - we would receive too many complaints if we would target it.

So if you have Free Hide Folder installed, then ignore the detections from the other scanners.
