Real Time Protection

Recently my ransomware protection and web protection were off thus stating that my computer was not protected.  I have removed Malwarebytes but now cannot re-install it.   Please advise.

If the same happens again, click on the IGNORE button and let it proceed.   For now, do a windows RESTART and see about restarting in SAFE Mode with Networking.   In there, run the setup-install program to do the install.   Setup will run while in that mode.  After completion, Restart windows one more time, back to normal mode.

Thanks for the advice.  Safe mode with networking worked.  After restarting into normal mode I had to turn on Web and Malware Protection but they actually turned on this time.  Thank you.

You are very welcome.  What Version do you now show?   click My Account.   click ABOUT tab

That's fine.  If all is OK, stick with this.   When the next component update package is "released" your program will get updated as part of a normal update  ( which will be silent, in  the background, and not require any intervention on your part).
