Hi

I have a issue. Malware bytes does not work together with Sophos AV. I followed the tutorial on your forum how to make them work together but it does not Work. I still cannot browse in any browser after i installed MWB and sophos together on one system.  https://support.malwarebytes.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2477531-configuring-exclusions-with-sophos-antivirus-and-malwarebytes-anti-malware?b_id=6438

I am Using Windows 10

So i deinstalled MWB. But after deinstalling i have two files sitting in my programs folder which can NOT be deleted as i do not have rights to those. Nor can i take the rights of the folders and files.  I want to get rid of these as they are leftovers from a MWB install and not needed anymore.

How to delete them? I do not want to reinstall my pc again because of this. Please provide a cleanup program that takes care of this. See attachment.

Thanks !

Hi BackuPs :)

Have you tried deleting these files when no other programs are opened: like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, etc.? The reason being that if you uninstalled Malwarebytes, and programs protected by the Anti-Exploit module were still running, the .dll are still "hooked" to these programs and therefore cannot be deleted, because they are in use. Closing the programs protected by Anti-Exploit free the hooks and allows the files to be deleted.
