Free antivirus compatible with Malwarebytes 3.0 ?

My Trend Micro Internet Security is us up for renewal today. It is incompatible with Malwarebytes 3.0 (unable to complete a full scan or custom scan of my computer).

No fix despite updates to Malwarebytes 3.0.

I've decided to keep Malwarebytes, and uninstall Trend Micro.

I have Windows 7.

Would appreciate it if people can tell me which free antivirus program in their experience has worked with Malwarebytes 3.0.

I use 360 Total Security Essentials without conflict. It has both Bitdefender and Avira detection engines as well as its own.

I use AVG FREE with no problems at all.

I decided to go with MSE (microsoft security essentials).

MSE (as opposed to my previous Trend Micro) is able to run a full scan or a custom  scan.

For me so far, there appears to be no conflict between MSE and Malwarebytes 3.0; even having not yet set the exclusions of one for the other.
