Running windows 7 X64 laptop. MBAM BETA 3.0.6

I am unable to turn the "Enable self protection mode" off. It is set green on and is unresponsive to mouse clicks. Also the button to "Enable self protection module early start" is off and is unresponsive to mouse clicks so cant be turned on.

Have reinstalled but doesn't change anything. Rebooting etc  doesn't help.

I had this same problem on 3 computers, all of which I installed the beta "over the top" after first disabling all protection including self protection and then quitting MBAM.  After the installation was completed, I found that self protection was activated and could not be turned off.

Uninstalling MBAM totally and re-installing it fixed the problem on all 3 computers.

Like siliconman01I  was able to activate the "Enable self protection mode" button by deactivating, uninstalling through control panel, rebooting, installing 3.0.6.1469, activating, turning off self protection (it worked on that version), deactivating, uninstalling, rebooting, installing 3.0.06.1469 UC3.  It now loads the self protection module successfully and the toggle for it is active. To get rid of the web protection starting error I enabled  "Enable self protection module early start" and for now all is well.
