Very Confusing around the web...build numbers...beta releases..!

I am getting a lot of questions about releases and BETA builds ...version numbers staying the same
..when a release is kicked out should have in my opin a new or slightly different build number!
 case in point release on the 17th

What's confusing? There is the GA release: 

There is also a preview beta being offered: 

This release also contains a new component package (1.0.69).

This minor release is optional. It is composed of the GA Malwarebytes 3.0.6.149 release as listed above but also contains a new component package (1.0.69). 

People are screaming for fixes and complaining that no one is listening: 

So the engineers have graciously made some of them available for people to try instead of waiting for the next update. 

Nothing could be LESS CONFUSING.

Be assured, the engineers are working 25/8/366......for what many times seems like an ungrateful public.

The Malwarebytes 3.0 forum has become a child's coloring book with all the frustrated kiddies scribbling outside the lines and throwing tantrums.

Seriously, no one takes a minute to have a look around at the stickied posts or search for/review other posts that cover the same issues as they are reporting.

Really got to hand it to the staff who are running around trying to help the helpless. Thankless job.

Everyone please try to be kind to each other.  There's a lot of frustration out there right now.  A lot of people are working to fix the problems, though their efforts are not yet visible to anyone on the outside.  Many are unhappy, so please take time to breathe before typing.  It will get better!
