@dcollins

I just want to report that I use Macrium Reflect and Bitdefender 2017 Total Security, along side MBP 3.0.6.  I downloaded the new beta build today and my computer, and MBP 3.0.6 beta build, is working fine.  I see that I have "lost" about 3 GB of previously occupied space on my 1 TB Samsung 850 Pro SSD C: drive, so presumably the MBP team have successfully addressed the previous VSS bug.

I congratulate the team for the long hours and outstanding efforts to develop such a comprehensive anti-malware solution and to so expeditiously deal with all of the issues that have arisen.

It should be remembered by all who post here that no two computers are the same, and so resolving issues for so many differing platforms is indeed a major challenge.  Keep up the good work!

With all of the negativity in some of the posts on this Forum, I thought that, as a happy customer, I should report in.  You helped me with my previous MBP 3.0.5 issues.  Thank you.  Have a great day.

Regards,
-Phil

A fairly banal wisdom that is estimatingly well-known to everyone. From which you can certainly also conclude, that your = "no" problems are not the problems of other users (e.g. your solved issues have never been a problem on my system...)

I thought I might be able to also say that the beta was working fine since it worked well for over 24 hours.

Nope.  The "Real-Time Protection layers turned off" just came back on at least one of my machines.  It looks like I am destined for more wasted time waiting for yet another fix attempt.  This is getting very tiresome.
