The beta version seems to be working.

I tried a few sites I know will pop up and warn me that I have a virus and has a continuos voice over that you can't get rid of until you rebbot.

But so far so good i have been testing these site and the warning has not appeared, however I just wish someone could come up with a way to stop all those multiple windows from invading our computer behind your browser.

Nothing seems to be able to stop these screens.

Hi thubleau :)

You seem to be a bit mistaken here. Anti-Ransomware won't protect you from websites that prompts fake security warnings, virus infections, ask you to call technical support, etc. These aren't Ransomware. These are just pages that are being delivered via malvertising and only exists in your web browser window (process). If you close your web browser, the warning will go away, and your system won't have been damaged in the process. Ransomware are actual infection (with a payload on your system) that encrypt your files and asks for a ransom to decrypt them.

If you want something to block the webpages mentionned above, you need to use an adblocker, like Adblock Plus, and or a general purpose blocker like uBlock Origin (which I highly recommend).
