I have the same problem on CHROME, IE, and EDGE if i type in the URL  http://iptest.malwarebytes.org  or

http://52.21.84.70 i get the page that says IF YOU ARE SEEING THIS PAGE YOUR IP PROTECTION IS DISABLED. I do not know how long this has been going on for as i have only just stumbled on this thread and did not know there was a test you could do so i just assumed everything was OK. Now i know there is a problem i am concerned that my computer will get infected.I am running the latest version 3.0.6 ,is there going to be a fix soon and if so how will i know and how soon will it be. I am not running F-secure but i do have EMSISOFT internet security and also STRONG VPN, hope this info helps. Is there anything else i should do to protect my laptop while this gets fixed or am i OK.

@ray1231 you can try disabling Emsisoft to see if that helps, but we haven't heard of any other issues regarding Emsisoft.

Can you provide the logs I mentioned a few pages ago please and we'll see if we can figure something out

  1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool from here http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/farbar-recovery-scan-tool/ and save it to your desktop.
Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system.
**After you click the Download Now 64-bit, or the Download Now 32-bit, another page will open — DO NOT CLICK ANY ADDITIONAL 'download now' buttons, just wait and look toward the bottom of your browser for the option to Run or Save. Click Save.
  2. Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to the disclaimer.
Note: If you are prompted by Windows SmartScreen, click More info followed by Run anyway.
  3. Click the Scan button.
  4. When the scan has finished, it will save 2 logs  in the same directory the tool was run from.  Please attach the following logs:
    Addition.txt
    FRST.txt

Not sure if this helps but I am running Emsisoft and MBAM blocks both of these sites for me.

Its been 3 days now and i am still waiting to hear from dcollins to tell me weather my laptop is PROTECTED or not in its currant state. Its a simple question and as a premium customer i would appreciate a straight forward answer. Although any answer would be better than the silence i have gotten up to now, i find it extremely annoying that he has chosen to ignore my post instead of giving me a straight answer.

@ray1231 if the other layers of protection are enabled, you should be well protected. Note that each protection module in MB3 adds another layer of security, attempting to stop threats from getting to you or impacting your machine if they do get through to you.

As for the DNS error issue, we are working on some tests internally to confirm the issue, but it most likely won't be fixed until our next update.

Thank you for your reply dcollins i feel better now knowing that i am at least partly protected,i do have EMSISOFT  internet security as well so all in all i think i should be ok until the next MBAM update. Could you give me a hint as to when the next update will be. THANK YOU.
