Hi,

I have been having problems with Malwarebytes ever since the upgrade to version 3.  I've sent an email to support a week ago, but have not received a response.  With Malwarebytes installed, my computer becomes incredibly slow within 20-30 minutes of use, e.g. applications become unresponsive, minutes to display the files in a folder, unable to reboot the system without a hard shutdown.  Additionally, when I try Ctrl-Alt-Del to try to see what the offending program is, the screen doesn't show up.  Instead I get a dialog box "Failure to display security and shut-down options".  Once I uninstall Malwarebytes, the problems go away.  I tried reinstalling today but encountered the same problems almost immediately.  I've attached the requested log files.

I've been in contact with support and they've been able to resolve my problem.  All I had to do was add the files listed below to McAfee's exclusion list:

C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-malware\assistant.exe
•C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-malware\mbam.exe
•C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-malware\mbampt.exe
•C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-malware\mbamservice.exe
•C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-malware\mbamtray.exe
•C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes\Anti-malware\mbamwsc.exe
•C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbam.sys
•C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mwac.sys
•C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys
•C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbamchameleon.sys
•C:\Windows\System32\drivers\farflt.sys
•C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbae64.sys (64-bit only)
•C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbae.sys (32-bit only)

After upgrading to v. 3.0.6 yesterday, I have also experienced the freezing problems. I just added the exclusions listed above that are located in "Program Files," but none of the following appear to be on my Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 computer:

•C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbam.sys
•C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mwac.sys
•C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys
•C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbamchameleon.sys
•C:\Windows\System32\drivers\farflt.sys
•C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbae64.sys (64-bit only)

Any idea why I can't find them? I've looked through the Explorer and also used the Search function.

Check in "C:\Windows\SysWoW64\drivers\"... may be there for 64-bit Win 7.
