I'm trialling Malwarebytes with a view to buying premium. But am still getting the same issue as many others seem to have: real-time web protection keeps turning off, despite me doing the workrounds suggested. I also have Kaspersky Total Security running and wondered if the problem is due to the two conflicting so am trying to set up exclusions.

Which Malwarebytes files should I exclude in Kaspersky? The only lists I've found are a few years old and I can't find some of the files listed.

And do I need to alter anything from Kapersky's default settings for exclusion? I've attached a screenshot.

Thanks for your help.

I also use Kaspersky but the Internet Security product.  Very doubtful that Kaspersky is conflicting with Malwarebytes to cause your web protection issue.  There are numerous posts from MB users here who are experiencing this issue.  Most likely they are not all using Kaspersky.

Like you, I have the entire Malwarebytes folder excluded in Kaspersky.  Please see post #6 in this thread for specific files to exclude.

You would want to exclude Kaspersky with Malwarebytes also.

Thanks capair45, that's the list I needed. I've set those up and will wait and see what happens. And yes, I've excluded the whole Kaspersky folder in Malwarebytes.

And thanks too nov1. When I couldn't find an up to date list of files, I was wondering about excluding the whole Malwarebytes folder. Wasn't sure if that was OK and as there seems to be a recommended list of files to exclude, I'm trying just going with those for the time being.

Holding my breath ......
