I've installed the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit.  The front page says it's blocking stuff, but I can't see how to run scans as recommended.  Advice welcomed.  Is it possible to run scans with the free version or only with the full version, please?

@AndyB, can you confirm that you are using Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit Beta? If so, then you will not see any sort of traditional malware scanning. In case you are not aware,  Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit provides proactive signature-less layered protection against malware that attempts to compromise users through exploits in common applications.

try to uninstall completely, reboot computer, re-download the file again and install it.

@ogallagher, I know you are trying to help but this advice likely won't resolve this situation since the OP appears to be talking about Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit and not Malwarebytes 3.0.

No, it is not possible to run scans with any version of Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit since that is not what the product does. In case you are not aware,  Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit provides proactive signature-less layered protection against malware that attempts to compromise users through exploits in common applications. In other words, it is not a malware scanning application.

With that being said, Malwarebytes 3.0 likely provides what you are looking for. It offers malware scanning and remediation in all versions.

You might want to double check that. :)

The two statements are talking about two different products. The first statement is specifically about Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit and the second statement is specifically about Malwarebytes 3.0.
