I have malwarebytes 3.0.6 with a lifetime licence and finally got the program running today.  However, the program keeps telling me that Anti Exploit is taking too long to start and I should reboot the computer to cure the problem.. Surely Anti Exploit is included in 3.0.6 and should start with everything else.  Rebooting does not seem to solve anything.  Any help would be appreciated.  Mick

Hi Billrv

No solution yet but if seems that the Anti Exploit message belongs to an older version of Malwarebytes as, in the latest versions of the program. the name has changed to Exploit Protection and appears to be working correctly in scans.  Could it be just be a leftover piece of software rthat we can't get rid of?  There is nothing showing in the Control Panel that could be uninstalled.  I'm just ignoring the message.  Mick

Hi guys :)

Can you install the latest beta/preview of Malwarebytes 3.0.6 and see if that solves your issue?

Before that, deactivate your current Malwarebytes installation, uninstall it and run mb-clean.exe to clean the remnants. Once done, install the version linked above.

Thank you for the advice Aura.  I have already reinstalled the new beta version but did not have the clean up tool.  All seems to be working OK so I think I'll just leave things alone as the message is just a very minor annoyance and doesn't seem to affect anything..

Thanks again,

Mick
