3.0.6 hangs during rootkit scanning

I'm having a issue where Malwarebytes 3.0.6 hangs during rootkit scanning on the threat scan. I have tried turning off rootkit scanning in the settings before running threat scan and so far (yet anyway) has not caused issues during threat scan. I can scan for rootkits just fine during custom scan though. Strangely I tried this on a old computer with a fresh copy of windows 7 without anything but malwarebytes installed and it did the same thing. Unless malwarebytes team wants to blame this on a conflict with windows this proves its a bug with malwarebytes.
