Windows 10 Home Version 1607, Build 14393.693.          3.0.6 has been running fine but since last night have had problems with Windows Edge. Noticed that Trusteer Rapport has been updated to 1804.81.  Edge tries to open but closes.  Bing is my home page, haven't tried making another site the home page to see if it works like previously.  Haven't much time at the moment as have some urgent things to get done. Here are my logs. Everything running fine using Firefox.

Never received a reply to this posting so here's an update. The problem was only on 1 machine--the other 3 continued to work fine after the Trusteer update. After a day or so, Edge started working fine on the "offender" without doing anything on my part.  Yesterday the problem came back. Noticed that other posts were referring to level 3.0.6.1469 but my machines were on 3.0.6.1458!!! I had been regularly using the "Install Application Updates" in Settings to check I was on the latest level and it reported there were no updates available!!  Obviously that wasn't correct.

Anyway to cut a long story short, I uninstalled 1458  and installed 1469 on all four. All four working fine and will continue to monitor.

I understand that currently you are very busy so there's no problem with the lack of response to my original posting. I still have faith in your product---no doggie biscuit required thank you!

Hello @RTL434:

Despite all is in working order now, please send the files below.

Please delete all present/obsoleted versions of mb-check and FRST and then download/execute the presently available version to the desktop of the system in question and "Run as administrator".

Please repeat the above with the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool  (FRST)

Then, please attach only the output diagnostic text (.txt) files to your next reply without any archiving actions.  Please delete mb-check & FRST after the report has been sent.

Thank you.

Hello 1PW,   Well did a search for mb-check and FRST and deleted any I found.  Downloaded mb-check and FRST64 as per the links to the Desktop and ran mb-check first. It completed o.k.  When I ran FRST my PC froze part way through. The last file displayed was "C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\C_20278.NLS"  Did a hard reset and when the PC came back up, MWB tray icon was showing a problem. It said it was up to date but a scan had never been run. Windows also reported that MWB was having a problem and it would search for a solution. Killed that and did a normal restart. Deleted the FRST.txt from the Desktop and reran FRST64.  Attached are the files produced. Will now remove the files from the Desktop.

(Have experienced lock-ups before on this PC but  don't know if it's hardware or software related---or relevant to MWB!)

Hello 1PW,   Problem with Edge back this morning.  Downloaded the files using Firefox as it works fine, to the Desktop and ran as before. Attached are the files.  After I did that, I did a restart and Edge now working o.k.!!  I am actually using Edge to respond to the posting at the moment.  I intend putting the Beta version on this PC later this evening to see if that helps. I have already installed it on a Laptop and it seems o.k.
