Independent testing / verification

I'm a long-time Kaspersky user but I'm always open to new software and am therefore trialling Malwarebytes 3.

I'm happy with the user experience so far, however I'm concerned that the efficacy of your product isn't being independently tested by AV-Test, i.e. you're not mentioned at https://www.av-test.org/en/antivirus/home-windows/windows-8/ or https://www.av-test.org/en/antivirus/home-windows/windows-10/ - why not?

Elsewhere you say "If you would prefer to use only one security product, choose Malwarebytes 3.0 Premium. Based on our testing, Malwarebytes 3.0 alone provides excellent protection against today’s threat landscape." but of course anyone testing their own product is going to recommend it, and you haven't published the methodology & results of your testing, we just have to take your word for it.

Ultimately without such exhaustive industry-standard testing by a trusted/independent source your product is effectively unproven and hence I'm reluctant to trust my system's security to it (which is of paramount importance) and (secondarily) to invest my money in it.

Hi Marcus

If you're thinking of replacing Kaspersky with Malwarebytes 3.0, I wouldn't do that. Malwarebytes 3.0 isn't an Antivirus, but an Antimalware, and therefore should be used to complement an already installed Antivirus on the system.

Also, AV-Test only test Anti-Virus products I think, not Anti-Malware, hence why Malwarebytes is probably not tested.
