It looks like the block is happening because of MacType on your machine. I am unable to replicate on my local machine, so perhaps your MacType software is out of date? Can you see if there's an update available for you for that software?

I have MacType updated to its latest version (1.16.0904)

Strange that I can't reproduce this with the same outcome. Can you verify that Firefox is up to date as well, I'm showing the latest is 51.0.1 and I'm using 32-bit. You can view this by going to Help -> About Firefox

I have the same version as you.

The weird thing is that I have no problems if I open Firefox through Malwarebytes. Like, for example, I try to open Firefox normally through my desktop and Malwarebytes blocks it, but if I go to the "Reports" section of Malwarebytes and I click on "More information," Firefox opens this page without any problem at all and I can continue using the browser just fine.

Would you mind uninstalling MacType just to see if that makes a difference?

With MacType uninstalled everything works just fine, I'd rather not have to stop using it though because I hate the way Windows handles fonts and with MacType everything looks so much better.
