Scheduled scan notifications will not turn off

My scheduled scans pop up a "Scan completed, no threats found" message, even though I've turned off notifications. No threats were found.

I turned it on, rebooted, turned it back off, also rebooted again for good measure, and these still pop up for scheduled scans.

Sorry @Iramo, completely lost this post. For starters, we've had a new release since the last post. Can you run the latest mb-check and upload the results to make sure you're up to date before we start troubleshooting again?

I've been watching this thread because I've been experiencing the same issue and signed up just to upload the results of mb-check. Results are attached.

OK, things look ok in your logs. Can you please try uninstalling Malwarebytes 3.x from the Control Panel and installing the latest version from the following URL: https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mb3

I reinstalled the application, and these still pop up for scheduled scans.

@dcollins I think there is still a glitch in MB. If you turn off show notifications in settings the pop up stating scan completed "no" problems still pops up.  I don't have a chance to test it and I haven't before because I like the notification. But like many have said about all the notifications you cant flip a setting and turn them off "for good" I would not recommend that be a global setting my self to be clear.

For me the answer is yes.

After speaking with our engineers, this is currently intended behavior. We are discussing the options going forward

FWIW I would personally prefer to not have to turn off notifications entirely to just get rid of the "scan completed" popup. I would still like to be notified of anything detected either by scans or the real-time protection.

It appears as it stands right now, this option pretty much does the exact opposite.

While i understand the importance of Notifications for scan results, regardless of anything found, I find it rather disruptive when it takes priority over everything I am running as the notification tray pops up.

If i am not allowed to turn the notifications off, i would at least like to be able to continue running a program without it being minimized for the sake of being told "i have no malware."

This was fixed in our 3.1.2 release. If you install that version, a scheduled scan that finds no threats will not notify you
