MB Software Update Blocking Gmail

On 01-28-2017 MB updated to the latest software build and with that update began blocking access to Gmail in web browsers. The effect is when trying to access Gmail in any web browser DNS will not resolve to Gmail and a DNS error will pop up in the web browser. After uninstalling MB the issue is resolved. My OS is Windows 10 professional. Please let me know if this problem is resolved in a new build of MB.

@Jimrp if you turn of Web Protection inside of MB3, does that solve the issue as well?

I don't know. I uninstalled the application.

Uninstalled as indicated above, downloaded latest version today and reinstalled. Problem seems to be resolved.

I have a similar problem in that Windows Live Mail says pop.gmail.com could not be found. Problem goes if I stop Malwarebytes or turn off web protection. Adding pop.gmail.com to excluded websites or Live Mail to excluded programs does not help. Got round it for the moment by changing gmail to googlemail.
