I have recently installed a fresh copy of windows 7 ultimate. I installed Malwarebytes and used my key and ID to become premium and had issues with updating. 

I found a thread that said to reinstall so I uninstalled MB and even used the MBClean tool to remove it completely and rebooted. I then downloaded and installed a fresh copy and input my id and key. It says "Updates are not current" all the time, even when I click check for updates and run a scan in which it is meant to update, it never goes away, still reads "Updates are not current".

What do I do?

Hey Lukesomeone : I had the same issue over the past few days (windows 7 home premium) - MallwareBytes would "freeze" when I tried to upgrade from 3.0.5 to 3.0.6 - This morning I wrote down my key and simply uninstalled the whole program  - Downloaded a new installer file from the website and reinstalled it - entered my key back in the settings. This seems to have worked. Mallwarebytes is up to date and no more notifications that its not when I start up my pc.

1.) Please help to complete all the needed information that may have been initially missed using: How to Report a New Issue.

2.) Please attach (do not compress/copy/paste) the output diagnostic report mb-checkReport.txt from mb-check-{version}.exe

After all the requested data is posted, the Malwarebytes' QA & Developer Teams, and staffers can commence their analysis.  Thank you always for your assistance.

i am on windows 10,my only problem,not for the first time with the new build is when updating,the button you need to press on dashboard is non responsive,also when clicking on upgrade and download is pressed in bottom right handside of screen.so i have had to go onto Malwarebytes site to install,and on one laptop had to uninstall and reinstall because it said i didn't have permissions,apart from that it is a great product to use,and even better now it is in one package.

It seems that the server is having issues along the way 

ec2-52-38-18-93.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com seems to be fine but timed out along it's route from the traceroute

BUT

ec2-54-209-213-109.compute-1.amazonaws.com IS completely broken as you can see in this png

Are you guys sure that you fixed the Update server properly?

 

MEANWHILE Until they fix this problem download the official installer from the malwarebytes website and reinstall it will bundle the update along with it
