Recommended Posts

Hi,

I downloaded malwarebytes for home use and and got the msg to put download into application folder, which I did, and I continued to get the same msg over and over and over.So I deleted the download and downloaded a fresh copy of malwarebytes and I continue to have the same problem, and I can't get any further than this msg.Can anyone advise me in how to resolve this issue? Thanks for your time.

You're putting the downloaded MBAM-Mac-1.2.5.dmg file into the Applications folder. That's not what you're supposed to do. You should be dragging the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware app, from the window that appears when you open that file, into the Applications folder.

Please see the video here for visual instructions:

Thank you for your quick reply, I watched the video and tried to do as shown. I move the MBAM over to the right into the app folder and I get a box that says opening, then it disappears and I'm returned to the move MBAM into the app folder, so I try again and again this still continues to happen, even after deleting MBAM and downloading a new copy. I can't open the application page as shown on the video. This is the first time I have tried to install MBAM. Any suggestions?
