cannot upgrade 3.0.5 to 3.0.6

An upgrade to MWB was offered and during the upgrade process it appeared to being repeated and the process was interrupted and that Upgrade failed with message: deletefile failed: code 5, access denied.  The  deletefile failed while it  was pointing to file: OS(C:)>program files>malwarebytes>anti-malware>mbamtray.exe.  Have also used the link for the latest release, v. 3.0.6 and it ends with no messages but no results.

Some users might be experiencing issues with an upgrade. Can you uninstall Malwarebytes 3.0.5 first (don't forget to deactivate your licence!) and then install 3.0.6? This should work.
