? help icon does not display any help text

In MB's settings there is a small ?-icon to display some help text. However nothing displays when I click on the icon. How can I fix this? Using the latest upgrade.

If it's an icon, rename it to whatever.ico or whatever.icon

I think you misunderstand me. Here, look at this screenshot. See that little round circle with a ? in it? That's the one. When I hover mouse over it it just says "More information". When I click it nothing happens...?

What is your default web browser? Just tried it on my system where Google Chrome is, and it worked.

I think that issue was fixed with the latest version 3.0.6.1469, are you running that version?

Yes I am. I had upgraded to it. I had other problems as well so I decided to completely uninstall and remove MB and reinstall. That fixed it (the uninstall process was a mess though, but I finally got around an issue that prevented the uninstall process from working).

 

Too bad I had to lose all my settings I wish the upgrade process to new versions was smooth and not problematic like this

Apparently, starting in Malwarebytes 3.0.6, the upgrade process should be smoother, so there won't be a need to uninstall 3.0.6 and clean install the new version (when it'll come out).
