MBARW vs 360 total Security

Hi kenvowels :)

Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware will be in a constant beta from what I can understand, so it'll not have a "paid" version and therefore, you cannot buy it. However, if you buy Malwarebytes 3.0 then yes, it'll include Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (which has been renamed Malwarebytes in 3.0), Anti-Exploit protection module and Anti-Ransomware protection module.

Also, Malwarebytes 3.0 should be compatible with almost every Antivirus. If 360 Total Security detects it as a threat, then it is a false positive on 360 side and you should report it to them. If that happens, you can also add Malwarebytes' files, folders and processes to 360 exclusion list.

Hello @kenvowels and :welcome:

The abbreviation MBARW stands for Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware.  Two standalone MBARW editions exist.  Home/Consumer and Business.  The standalone Consumer edition is free and the current version is BETA 8 v0.9.17.661.

It is very likely you are interested in the Home/Consumer edition of Malwarebytes 3.0 (sometimes abbreviated MB3) which is the latest Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (MBAM) and has had Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit (MBAE) and MBARW rolled into it.  Malwarebytes 3.0 is designed to be compatible other applications such as 360 Total Security's products.
