VirusTotal is still showing it as blacklisted by you:

After contacting them they said:

We receive results from different AV vendors. If it's still listed as malware in our results is because the AV vendor hasn't sent us updated results. Once they send us updated results, the information is automatically updated in VirusTotal.

Please contact the AV vendor and let them know that they have to send updated results to VirusTotal.

Hello Steven,

 

Thank you. It has been listed as blackisted on virustotal for a month so that's a bit weird and this is the 2nd request we send to you regarding this and you confirmed it was already removed since Jan 12th or so so that's a pretty long API delay issues or so here.

Once again, Thank you for your assistance and hopefully this one can get fixed shortly as it's causing a lot of frustration.

I've sent an email over to Emiliano at VirusTotal (there's been issues before with syncing, can't recall what the problem was though).

In this case, it's not actually the API (VT pulls down a copy of the hpHosts database to import into their systems (saves on API and site to site calls))
