3.06

More info

Windows 10 PRO, latest updates, also running Windows Defender.

Now Exploit protection is turned off by itself in 3.06 !!!   Restart always makes Exploit protection in 3.06 turned off !!

Workaround

1-Deactivate Licences

2-Uninstall (control panel)

2-Use cleaning tool (then reboot)

4-Install 3.06

5-Reinstall Licences

6-Under settings ---> Application --> Default

Works fornow

Hi,

So when trying to install 3.06 as upgrade/over 3.04, 3.05, or even 2.XXX, on 6 computers I got

on 4/6  MBAE64.sys  preventing install, or PoliciesControllerLmpl.dll DeleteFile failed ; code 5. error during install!!!! ; ignore allowed install to proceed...

on 2/6 install went ok but on all 6/6 issues below

on 6/6 computers after in place upgrade protection kept turning off, scheduling totally unstable.

SO uninstalled on 6/6 using this method.

1-Deactivate Licences

2-Uninstall (control panel)

2-Use cleaning tool (then reboot)

4-Install 3.06

5-Reinstall Licences

6-Under settings ---> Application --> Default

7-Reboot and then adjust settings (scan rootkits, enable self-protection module early start)

Works for now, no turn of of protection, scheduling more stable but still has errors (wrong type, mixes up edit settings with one another if more than one)...

So 3.06 WILL NOT PROPERLY UPGRADE OLDER VERSIONS; BUT COMPLETE UNINSTALL, CLEAN and THEN REINSTALL WORKS
