How to report a problem

If you have a problem with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac, before you post a question, please be sure to consult the following document, which describes solutions for a number of common problems not caused by malware or adware:


If none of the solutions there work, or they aren't appropriate for your problem, start a new post containing the following:

  • A brief description of the problem you're having
    • Be descriptive, but concise.
  • Include a system snapshot taken with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac on the affected system
    • Choose Take System Snapshot from the Scanner menu, in the menu bar at the top of the screen
    • When the snapshot window opens, choose Select All from the Edit menu, copy the selected text
    • Paste the copied snapshot into your post here
  • Screenshots of the problem can help us understand what you're seeing. To make a screenshot, see the instructions here:
