Hello MarkBevan:

The capabilities of Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit (MBAR) were even in MBAM 2.X.  Perhaps you meant Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware (MBARW).

Open the MB3 GUI -> Settings -> Protection.  Under Real-Time Protection, select "Manage Protection Applications".  The Protected Applications list of Anti-Exploit (AE) protected applications that appear are those that are "baked-in" and among those are the browsers that are naturally protected.  You may add applications, including other browsers, of your choice.
