Well basically AdvancedSetup went to town on my computer and did a WONDERFUL job! So thanks much for that... however I noticed in the guides you gave me to follow some information was outdated, the one I remember in particular is this

How To Temporarily Disable Your Anti-virus, Firewall And Anti-malware Programs

Which I understand is a guide on BleepingComputers website, however it is outdated and I was unable to follow it.. I realize you can't change it, but maybe look in to creating your own that is up to date...

(by the way I use BitDefender and the guide is outdated for that, maybe others as well)

Just a suggestion

But regardless the process still went smoothly and thanks again for everything!

My bitdefender has no button or tab called virus shield.. I had to click on settings and click disable... it wasn't a big deal for me but some it may be confusing...

For me it was Put it into basic view, click settings, click the '+' to expand local security, then disable real-time antivirus and antispyware file protection, and disable automatic vulnerability check...

Though that topic was created a while back, it is updated regularly. It is a hard process keeping all of those 100% up to date considering how often the programs change. We do what we can and rely on people telling us we need to update it. So, thank you!

Bitdefender instructions have now been updated.
