Error when booting software

Recommended Posts

So I own the full version of Malwarebytes, and also have the Anti Root Kit add on. It is set to start with windows, however when booting my PC and logging in, I received an error message stating "Malwarebytes anti root kit could not access driver, this may be due to root kit activity" followed by an error code which I believed to be 20025.

I ran the application again, ran SFC scan in the command prompt and also ran advast, then I restarted the PC. once doing this the error message did not appear again, however I am curious as to why it may of happened, or if a rootkit has masked the error? I am currently running programme version 2.2.1.1043.

Thank you for your time, Luke
