Meathead Posted January 14, 2017 ID:1088912 Share Posted January 14, 2017 Was auto update turned off for MBAE after 1291 and the subsequent release of MBAM 3.0? There has been 1294, 1297 and 1303 but no PC that I monitor has updated past 1291 unless I've manually installed a newer version. Even then it still doesn't auto update any further. Staff Rsullinger Posted January 16, 2017 Staff ID:1089227 Share Posted January 16, 2017 Hello Meathead, The automatic update is not turned on for the newer builds past 1291 currently. In the future, we may release another 1.09 through automatic updates bundled together with these fixes. However, we will not be pushing each test build through automatic updates. Meathead Posted January 17, 2017 Author ID:1089405 Share Posted January 17, 2017 So the builds past 1291 are just for bug fixes? The detection engine is the same from 1291 and on? By that I mean 1291 will detect the same things that 1303 does? Thanks
Staff Rsullinger Posted January 17, 2017 Staff ID:1089413 Share Posted January 17, 2017 Hey Meathead, That is correct. We will release versions of the product that has fixes to our hooking or adds new features, but usually around that time is when we create the new build of the product and deploy it globally. But currently the builds released so far has only been bug fixes for other reported issues. Such as a powerpoint conflict that was occurring with a newer version of the Powerpoint.
