Hello everyone.

I currently am having an issue that seems to come up every now and then, regarding my scan automatically cancelling. Based on other post I used to try and remedy my own problem I have already done the following, I am also including the export file of the scan.

using this article https://support.malwarebytes.com/customer/portal/articles/1835311-how-do-i-uninstall-malwarebytes-anti-malware-?b_id=6438 I uninstalled Malware Bytes, went into registry editor deleted all Malware Bytes registries left over (2) and reinstalling it as it describes besides deactivating an anti-virus system as I do not run real time protection. After a full uninstall and reinstall the scan still continued to cancel itself. Even when I try to run the scan for single files the same cancellation process seems to happen.

The only option I feel could be causing a problem is windows may not be fully updated, would a system not fully updated cause scan issues? Besides the recommendations of updating could anyone possibly help me with my issue? Thanks in advanced its much appreciated.

PS: After writing this I plan on updating and trying the scan again and will post back results.

Hello @Bigbear:

You're very welcome.  As you fall back to MBAM v2.2.1.1043, please consider supplementing your system's protections with the free Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit (MBAE) and Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware (MBARW) additions.  If you require additional assistance, please ask here in your topic.

Thank you.
