BSOD Help

Windows 10 Pro 64 bit upgrade from Windows 8.1 Pro

Built the desktop system myself 3 years ago, 8.1 installed from disk

Intel Core i5 3740

NVidia GTX 660Ti

Gigabyte GA Z77X D3H

Antec NeoPower 650 watt

RAM 8 GB

Had some BSODs which indicated a driver issue with the 660Ti...  updated the driver to the current version.  I did not check the memory or the CMSO battery as I have a dual boot system in this case with Windows 7 on a separate SSD.  I get no BSODs on that drive and I left it on all night last night.  As soon as I booted into my Windows 10 drive, the BSODs started.

Last night upgraded my Malwarbytes Premium lifetime license to Malwarebytes 3.0.  The BSODs started every 15 minutes to 30 minutes.  Disabled Malwarebytes and they have stopped long enough to finish this post...  I hope.

I have attached the Synsanative zip file, but am unable to attach the PERFMON file as it does not stop running.  Left it running for 1/2 hour; although it says it is collecting information for 60 seconds it doesn't stop and does not allow me to save.  I will try again later and attach if I can.

It's been over an hour since I disabled MWB 3.0 Premium, but I sure don't want to be without it.  Thanks for any help you can give!

Your UEFI/BIOS (version F16) dates from 2012.  Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any UEFI/BIOS updates available for your system.  If you are able to install the update through Windows (without booting from an external drive), then go ahead and update it.  WARNING - if the computer might shut down during this procedure, please don't do it, as this may physically damage the computer and prevent it from booting.
FYI - W8 and W10 communicate more with the UEFI/BIOS than previous versions of Windows, so it's important to ensure that the UEFI/BIOS is kept up to date (and that outdated UEFI/BIOS' may be the cause of some compatibility issues).

Only 5 Windows Update hotfixes installed.  Most build 14393 (1607) systems have more than this.  Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available Windows Updates.
The actual number is not important.  Rather it's important that you checked manually, installed any available updates, and didn't experience any errors when checking or updating.

You have a Linksys AE6000 USB wifi adapter:

I do not recommend using wireless USB network devices.

These wireless USB devices have many issues with Win7 and later systems - using older drivers with them is almost certain to cause a BSOD.
Should you want to keep using these devices, be sure to have the latest W7/8/8.1/10 drivers - DO NOT use older drivers!!!
An installable wireless PCI/PCIe card that's plugged into your motherboard is much more robust, reliable, and powerful.

You have 3 hard drives.  What is the age of your Power Supply?  The efficiency of a PSU degrades with age, so this might be a factor.

Most of the memory dumps (from the WER section of the MSINFO32 report) blame your video drivers.
The memory dumps that were uploaded with the Sysnative report started in mid-November - and there's 48 of them that I am running now.
Were you able to see BSOD's over the last month and a half?  Was there a period where they weren't happening?  Had they stopped before you installed MBAM 3.0?  If so, for how long had they been stopped (approximately)?

The memory dumps show problems with your video card and with MalwareBytes.
It also appears that you updated your video drivers yesterday.

I'd suggest uninstalling MalwareBytes temporarily - in order to troubleshoot the video card issues.
If the BSOD's continue with the video card, then I'd suggest these free hardware diagnostics:  http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html
Please start with the video tests - but run ALL of the diagnostics and let us know the results.

Once we've figured out the video issues, then we can work on the MalwareBytes issues undisturbed.

I know the UEF/BIOS is out of date.  Right now, I am leery of updating with the random BSOD's.  I left the Windows 10 drive running all day yesterday with no issues.  Then around 6:00 pm - after I had re-enabled Web and Exploit protection in Malwarebytes - there was another BSOD unrelated to the video card drivers.  I turned the protection off and then left the computer running the rest of the evening and all night long.  I left it in my email client so I would be able to see if it had rebooted during the night.  I checked with BlueScreenView also and there were no more reboots.

I had been putting off updating that video card driver because my internet service is so slow out here in the country.  I believe the computer was rebooting because of that issue when I was unaware of it.  I bit the bullet and downloaded and updated the driver and have not had another BSOD related to the video card drivers since that time.

The power supply is 7 years old, but it was one of the first things I checked with my power supply tester.  It tested out as running perfectly.

I'm not a huge fan of the USB WiFi adapters either, but have gone the easy route with them.  Another bullet to bite!  I have been thinking about ordering an internal adapter and this kicks me in the rear end to go ahead and do it.

I just did a manual check for updates a few days ago and there was nothing.  I did another one this morning and there was only a Windows Defender update.

I will go ahead and uninstall Malwarebytes and see how it goes.  I didn't have BlueScreenView before, so the unattended BSOD's went unnoticed by me.  I will check it a couple of times a day.

Thank you so much for your help, Usama.  I am probably more concerned about the Malwarebytes issue than anything.  I work on computers for other people and install it on every one.

My concern here is with MalwareBytes also.  This error is similar to those that we've seen in the past.
If the BSOD's continue to point towards MalwareBytes (with the system fully updated), then I'll ask for some help from the staff at MalwareBytes (If they're not already following this).

Please keep us informed of your progress/issues.  It'll be interesting to see how this proceeds.
Good luck!

All, right, I uninstalled MWB and had no BSOD's related to the Nvidia driver issue for 2 days.  Then I reinstalled MWB, but disabled all 4 of the protection modules.  After 24 hours, I started enabling the MWB protection modules one at a time and then observing for 12 - 24 hours.  No problems with Ransomware, Malware and Exploit protection.  But as soon as I enabled the Web Protection module I had a BSOD within an hour.  Same Bad Pool Header etc.  I just read the post above mine where he found a conflict with a USB WiFi adapter.  I ordered an internal WiFi card and I'm going to install that tomorrow and see what happens.  If I can enable the Web Protection module and the BSOD's stop, I think we can blame it on a conflict with the WiFi adapter drivers.  If that turns out to be the case, it should probably still be reported to MWB as there are a lot of people who use these USB WiFi adapters.

I'll keep you posted.

The staff of MalwareBytes keeps an eye on these topics, so they'll see it also.

Also, I've spoken to the staff here about networking issues and they are aware that we (the forum members) suspect a problem with it.
