MBAM 3.0 "Cannot connect to the service"

Hey, recently built a new computer and installed a fresh windows 10 home installation and I've been having a few issues trying to install MBAM 3.0 on the computer.

The first time I tried to install it, it would reach the end of the installation and as soon as I'm about to click Finish on the installation it would crash the PC. I restarted the PC and then tried running MBAM and it's giving me the error "Cannot connect to the service", I tried finding some solutions to this and I haven't been having any luck. I tried posting on the windows support forum and they told me it may be because I have Windows 10 installed on an SSD and because of that it can cause compatibility issues with some programs.

Either way, I've ran the mbam-check.exe or whatever it's called and I've got the log file attached to the thread.

Hello @NathanC and

1.)  Please help your system, and the Malwarebytes' developers/staffers, by supplying any of the missing information requested in the How to Report a New Issue topic and most importantly making sure to include the much-needed MBAMSERVICE.LOG.

2.)  Additionally, attach (do not compress/copy/paste) the separate FRST.txt and the Addition.txt output diagnostic reports from only Log Set 1.  The appropriate Farbar Recovery Scan Tool utility must be executed with "Run as administrator" privileges.

Soon after all the requested data is posted, the Malwarebytes' QA & Developer Teams, and staffers can commence their analysis.  Thank you always for your assistance.
