Freerip gets hosed by Adwcleaner

Recommended Posts

Freerip is a standard in the MP3 conversion utility group  My copy is licensed under their "Promotion 2012" deal and works as it should normally.  The cleaner allows me to uncheck the program but still removes the license and thus lock the Pro version features.  My ongoing solution has been to reinsert the license info, which restores all functionality.  I cannot offer anything further for a solution to this issue, which has beent he case for a very long time.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I am attaching the most recent Scan Logs.

Please note that the Freerip problem appears to have been solved finally.  i did notice that the scan found Chrome artifacts.  They may be a hold over from past accidental instals that did not fully uninstall, as i do not use Chrome at all.

I will update this thread if the issue resurfaces.

Have a great New Year.
