I was having no issues with 1.38 or any other version. 1.39 is giving me a runtime error, which has never come up before. I ran a scan with 1.38 earlier the other day, 0 infected objects, and superantispyware scanned as well and it only found tracking cookies. Its strange because I went onto my other user account on the machine and 1.39 installed fine, and ran without giving me the error. Im not sure why it pops up just on my user side, but who knows.
