Yes, I know that this may have been reported, but I don't have time to find out, so: Malwarebytes said that it had not been scanned, probably because the failure of the tray application to load had disabled my scan schedule, so I told the program to scan. After seventeen minutes of it checking for updates, I exited it to stop the meaningless search; when I restarted, the program had, once again, reverted to the free version.

I once again entered my license, and started a new scan this time the program only checked for an update for a moment, and as of this writing is just over four minutes into a scan; in fact, it just finished, so at least that worked, but the continued failures are [fill in the blank as you best see misfit.]
