Why can't I upgrade to v3.0.5 from within v3.0.4?

Hi,

Within v3.0.4, why doesn't MB update to v3.0.5 in 'application updates'? Otherwise i really don't see the point in having 'application updates' if the user has to manually download the patch...

Definitions are auto updated at this time. It isn't as if the program itself is checking for updates 24 x a day.

The built-in upgrade hasn't been enabled yet for v3.0.5, it'll be enabled sometime next week. For now, you need to download and install the new version from the website.

Thanks, Aura.  I saw a mention of the update to 3.0.5 in another discussion topic yesterday and immediately checked for updates.  When I didn't get an update, I figured it was a case of my ISP serving cached pages, closed the open tab and went on my way without noticing the post you linked to.

All good Corrine  I doubt the auto-upgrades will be enabled any time soon (as long as there's issues to fix).
