Kaspersky 2017 Total Protection

Recommended Posts

Hi jimsarles :)

From the Malwarebytes 3.0 FAQ:

Can Malwarebytes 3.0 run alongside Symantec or McAfee?
Certainly! We built Malwarebytes 3.0 to be compatible with all major anti-virus software, even Windows Defender and Microsoft Security Essentials. In fact by default Malwarebytes 3.0 installs in compatible mode alongside Defender, MSE or third-party antivirus products.

Also, the newest version (3.0.5) fixes an issue with Kaspersky products where browsers wouldn't open. And it doesn't matter which one you install first, though personally I would install Kaspersky first, and then Malwarebytes.

According to the Malwarebytes tech support people, it is not.  I have been working with them for almost two months trying to get Malwarebytes to stop dropping the license, and they asked me to turn off several features of Kaspersky Total Security but nothing works.  They finally told me that I could keep only one of the two.  That was from more than one tech trying to help me too.  Once I get Malwarebytes to work, on the next reboot or two, it is no longer licensed.  Personally, I think the issue is with the way the check the license, but they say no, it is Kaspersky.  Note that I have the latest version of Malwarebytes as of September 1, 2017.
